VeryT is a modern British soft rock and dance/pop phenomenon, created by Snorting Pig Productions in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

Founded on melodic American blues rock with undertones of folk and western music, DJ Dodgy Dave has remixed some of VeryT's classic tracks to create an exciting dancefloor vibe on some of them.

VeryT’s digital creations are the work of Verity Carrington and David Shimell (AKA Snorting Pig and DJ Dodgy Dave) who have a long history of supporting the live music scene in Coventry, London, Reading, Maidenhead, Cookham and Henley on Thames. Verity, a musician since the age of 10, current “Blend Choir” singer and David an ex-singer in Random Access in the 1970s and 80s first met in 2021 under difficult circumstances. Through losing their spouses at early ages and their stirring album “Proud” captures some of their memories, how they dealt with tragedy and how they are now positively approaching the future.

VeryT’s debut album “Proud” contains 13 tracks, spanning a mix of genres, with all lyrics self-written, digitally arranged, mixed, enhanced and mastered to create one of the most interesting albums of the 21st Century.

On each track you can hear the lyrics are written from the heart with pure enjoyment. They are now enjoying creating YouTube videos for each of the dance tracks for late 2025. 

The first single, Reflections on the Shoreline, has been released from the album in September 2025. Since the release they have continued the joy of collaborating new music, working toward the next album which will be released in early 2026.
