Meet VeryT
VeryT's 2nd album, “Road to New Memories”, released in 2026 is a follow-up to her 2025 debut album “Proud”.
VeryT’s groundbreaking albums are the work of Verity Carrington and David Shimell who have a long history of supporting the live music scene in Coventry, London, Reading, Maidenhead, Cookham and Henley on Thames.
Verity, a musician since the age of 10, current “Blend Choir” singer and David an ex-singer in 1970/80s rock band Random Access who features on the "Memories of Holbrooks Bowl" album. They first met in 2021 under difficult circumstances, through losing their spouses at early ages. “Proud” captures some of their memories, how they dealt with tragedy and how they are now positively approaching the future.
Appearing on VeryT’s albums are rock and dance collaborations with Snorting Pig and DJ Dodgy Dave respectively; all produced by David Shimell of Snorting Pig Records.
Lyrics on all songs are self written from the heart, digitally mixed and enhanced, resulting in some of the highest quality albums of the 21st Century. Videos for many tracks are now appearing on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok outlining the meaning behind them or describing underlying legends behind them.
VeryT also features on tracks on Snorting Pig's 2025 album "XCentric Pig", a heavy rock album released November 2025 and will feature on Pig’s forthcoming 2026 album “Smell The Bacon” scheduled for release in April.

In 2020, as a nation, we came together to thank our nurses and care staff for the incredible work they were doing during one of the most difficult times in our nation's history. Today, those same people continue to work just as hard — with unwavering dedication, compassion, and strength — yet their efforts largely go unrecognised.
This song is our way of saying a huge Thank You.
We see you. We appreciate you. You are the true angels among us.
To celebrate the diversity within our care industry, this song released as five versions. Standard Hindi and Englist variants along with dance versions of both. A further English Rock version appears on VeryT's 2026 album "Road To New Memories".
